Naquil Betrand, 2023 OT out of Philadelphia, announces SEC commitment

Naquil Betrand is headed south to play in the SEC. The offensive tackle out of Philadelphia announced his commitment to Texas A&M on Saturday.

Betrand is listed at 6-7, 310 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, he’s rated 3-stars, the No. 18 Pennsylvania product, No. 78 offensive tackle and No. 897 prospect overall in the class of 2023.
Betrand has picked up 23 scholarship offers in his recruitment. In March, he committed to Colorado. As he took more visits and received more scholarship offers, however, Betrand backed off that pledge and reopened his recruitment. In July, he revealed a final 6 of Texas A&M, Auburn, Kentucky, Penn State and Syracuse.
