Jordan Davis has not missed a beat in the weight room if this drill during a Philadelphia Eagles open practice is any indication.

An Eagles fan posted to social media a video that showed Davis pushing a teammate, Cameron Jurgens, back with an ease that appeared as if the teammate was a blocking sled, or high schooler. For perspective, Jurgens is listed at 6-foot-3 and 303 pounds.

At 6-foot-6 and 340 pounds, Davis was selected No. 13 overall in the 2022 NFL Draft, and he appears to have a big rookie season ahead for the Eagles.

Last season at Georgia, Davis racked up 32 tackles, including 5 tackles for a loss. He also won the Outland Trophy for college football’s top interior defensive lineman, according to the Football Writers of America.

During his 4 years at Georgia playing in 41 games, Davis made 90 tackles, including 11.5 for a loss and 7 sacks.

Davis continues his remarkable career, from being a basketball-first 3-star prospect coming out of Charlotte, North Carolina. As a high school recruit, he was the nation’s No. 29 overall defensive tackle and the state of North Carolina’s No. 15 overall prospect for the class of 2018, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
