Jamal Murray is soon to head into his 7th season with the Denver Nuggets. The former Kentucky star was drafted 7th overall by the Nuggets in 2016 after 1 season in Lexington, but was sidelined for the 2021-22 campaign due to a torn ACL.

The Wildcats have had a host of talented players come through the program during its existence, but who would be in Murray’s all-time starting 5? As you can see in the video below, Murray broke down his choices, with one being…himself, naturally.

Murray selected Tyler Ulis as his point guard, with Anthony Davis as the center. At the 3-guard spot, he picked John Wall, while Julius Randle was his selection at the 4-spot.

He then remarked that the team would be a “four-time” national champion. Whether that would be true or not (and there’s definitely recency bias among his list), that’s undoubtedly a great deal of talent on the same court.
