Bryce Young is just different.

He won the coveted Heisman trophy as just a sophomore, made it to the National Championship game and seems poised to run it all back again in 2022.

On Thursday, Alabama head coach Nick Saban talked with Colin Cowherd on The Herd about when he realized that Young was not like the rest of the quarterbacks that he had scouted.

“I think the thing that made me feel that this is different and that’s not difficult is, this guy plays the position a little bit like a point guard in basketball,” Saban said. ” His decision making, his judgement, his ability to create plays, whether he extends the play whether he makes  a quick decision, it’s almost like he can see everyone on the field and he knows exactly what to do and when to do it.”

Young threw for 4,872 yards, 47 touchdowns and 7 interceptions in 2021.
