College Football Playoff expansion has been a hot topic since the playoff was introduced in 2015.

Is four teams enough? Is it even feasible? On Friday, the CFP Board of Managers will convene to determine if the playoff should be expanded, and could potentially vote on said expansion for 2026 and, if unanimous, as early as 2024.

According to a report from SI, the 16-team playoff model is the hot topic gaining traction, though commissioners still favor a 12-team model.

A vast majority of fans point to parity in college football when asked why expansion is necessary. In the eight pools of four teams since 2015 there have been 12 various programs reach the final four: Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Clemson, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Washington, Cincinnati, LSU, Florida State, Michigan State and Michigan. Of those 12, five have won a title.

Do you think expansion is a good idea?
