Keon Zipperer came up with the first receiving touchdown of Florida’s 2022 season in highlight fashion.

The Gators went scoreless through the air in their first 13 quarters of play this season. In the second quarter of Saturday’s SEC East rivalry clash in Knoxville, Florida QB Anthony Richardson found his tight end open down field.

The highlights came after the catch. Zipperer busted multiple tackles as he spun and powered his way to the end zone for the first TD of Saturday’s game, a 44-yard play.

Unfortunately for UF, the 7-3 lead did not last long. The Vols answered quickly with a 3-play, 75-yard touchdown drive. No. 11 UT retook the lead over No. 20 Florida 10-7 in the second quarter.

The game is currently airing on CBS.
