Missouri football faces a tough task on Saturday in going up against the No. 1-ranked team in college football.

Tigers defensive coordinator Blake Baker is plenty aware of what he has to deal with as he looks to try to outdo a well-oiled machine of an offense that is led by potential Heisman Trophy candidate Stetson Bennett at quarterback.

“It’s gonna be hard to force him into mistakes, because from what I’ve seen he’s like a coach on the field,” Baker said.

That’s high praise specifically in the decision-making area, which was one that Bennett struggled in at crucial points last season. Baker also spoke highly of other players within the Bulldogs offense like star tight end Brock Bowers.

The Bulldogs enter this game as double-digit favorites, something that isn’t surprising given the overall talent gap and just how outstanding Georgia has been collectively as a team. It will be interesting to see how Mizzou, which showed a lot of of fight in the loss to Auburn, can attempt to hold its own against the NCAA’s most fearsome competition.
