It’s truly any given Saturday in college football and the matchup between Mizzou and Georgia has perfectly illustrated that. The Tigers held their own through the first half, leading 16-6 at halftime in a game in which both sides have been fiercely.
Mizzou showed some fight against Auburn and had some standout games against non-conference opponents, but there was no other way to draw this up outside of a blowout that it has somehow not turned into.
Needless to say, many are puzzled by this and it is going to be interesting to see if Georgia ultimately turns the tide and runs away with it in the final two quarters.
