An NFL veteran was reminded Sunday that you need to be extra careful when you’re around the guys in stripes.

Will Hernandez, a veteran guard for the Arizona Cardinals, was ejected from Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers for making contact with an official. On social media, Hernandez’s contact is mostly being described as a push or a shove (Red Zone Channel’s Andrew Siciliano called it a hit), with many fans questioning if it warranted an ejection.

Here’s a sample of the negative reaction to the call:

Hernandez’s Cardinals are leading the Panthers 20-10 in the 4th quarter. The game is airing on FOX.
