One of the most anticipated games on the college football slate this weekend will be between No. 3 Tennessee and visiting No. 19 Kentucky.

Mark May and Lou Holtz shared their picks for the rivalry game on The Crowd’s line.

May is predicting Tennessee to cruise to the victory by a score of 43-17.

“Look for the Vols to come out strong and show the country they are one of the best in the country,” May said.

Holtz meanwhile has Tennessee beating Kentucky 34-20.

“[Hendon] Hooker is unbelievable…He also runs the ball very, very well. They’re just explosive,” Holtz said.

Tennessee most recently routed UT Martin 65-24. Tennessee amassed 696 total yards and only committed 1 turnover in the blowout. Quarterback Hendon Hooker completed 18 of his 24 passes for 276 yards, 3 touchdowns and no interceptions. Receiver Jalin Hyatt caught 7 passes for 174 yards and 2 touchdowns. Squirrel White had 5 receptions for 122 yards and a touchdown.

Kentucky is coming off a bye week. In Kentucky’s last game, they defeated Mississippi State 27-17 to snap a 2-game losing streak. Kentucky’s Chris Rodriguez Jr. rushed for 197 yards and 2 touchdowns. DeAndre Square collected a team-high 11 tackles for Kentucky.

Tennessee won last season’s meeting and leads the all-time series 82-26-9 against Kentucky. Kentucky-Tennessee is slated for a 7 p.m. ET kickoff this Saturday and will be televised on ESPN.
