Demouy Kennedy, former Alabama LB, announces transfer destination

Demouy Kennedy is headed to the Pac-12.

Kennedy announced on Wednesday that he will be transferring to Colorado. The former 4-star linebacker spent the past 3 seasons with the Crimson Tide.

He was the No. 39 overall player in the country for the class of 2020, per 247 Sports Composite rankings. He’ll now head to Colorado to play for Deion Sanders.

Despite his high pedigree as a prospect, Kennedy never carved out a role on Alabama’s defense. He made 8 total tackles across 3 seasons for the Crimson Tide.

Kennedy is an Alabama native. He attended Theodore High School in Theodore, Alabama.

Kennedy is the 24th transfer to commit to Colorado so far this offseason. The Buffs have the No. 5-ranked transfer portal class in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
