Auburn has landed its 1st commitment in the class of 2025.

On Wednesday morning, the Tigers earned a pledge from in-state defensive lineman Malik Autry.

Here’s his announcement:

It’s still extremely early in the 2025 cycle, so Autry does not have a ranking yet from any of the major recruiting services. However, that’s expected to change in the coming months.

Autry has already earned offers from some of the top programs in the country. His list of options includes Georgia, Michigan and Kentucky, amongst others.

His commitment comes just a few days after Auburn’s new staff offered Autry a scholarship:

Despite still being a high school sophomore, Autry is already listed at 6-foot-6, 280 pounds. His frame could allow him to be an early contributor during his time at Auburn.
