Chris Partridge has been hired as an assistant coach at Michigan, per a report.
That’s according to On3’s Matt Zenitz, who notes that Partridge previously coached for the Wolverines from 2015-19. He was Ole Miss’ co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach from 2020-22.

It’s not yet clear what role Partridge will have in Ann Arbor. He previously coached safeties, linebackers and special teams for the Wolverines before moving to Ole Miss.
Ole Miss hired Alabama’s Pete Golding to take over defensive coordinator responsibilities for 2023 and beyond. The Rebels are looking to make big improvements on defense ahead of next season.
In 2022, Ole Miss ranked 8th in the SEC in yards per play allowed. They were tied for 8th in 2021 and way back in 12th during the 2020 campaign.
Ole Miss is 18-8 over the past 2 seasons.
