LSU could be close to flipping an in-state EDGE target. Ahmad Breaux has reopened his recruitment.

Breaux, a Ruston (Louisiana) standout, committed to Duke back on Jan. 26. Sunday, he announced his decommitment from the Blue Devils.

Breaux’s decommitment comes less than 24 hours after LSU extended a scholarship offer. Breaux visited LSU campus on Saturday to check out Brian Kelly’s program.

Breaux is listed at 6-3, 255 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Breaux is rated 3-stars, the No. 15 Louisiana product, No. 54 EDGE and No. 667 prospect overall in the 2024 recruiting class.

At this stage of his recruitment, Breaux has scholarship offers from 12 programs. He also competes in track and field.
