Josh Heupel’s Tennessee staff is making some noise on the recruiting trail Friday. The Volunteers have picked up commitments for their 2024 and 2025 recruiting classes.

Middle Tennessee Christian School OT Jesse Perry will begin his UT career next year. Listed at 6-6, 275 pounds, Perry is rated 3-stars, the No. 33 recruit in the state of Tennessee, No. 74 offensive tackle and No. 904 prospect overall nationally in the 2024 recruiting class on the 247Sports composite rankings.

Perry has picked up scholarship offers from 25 schools during his recruitment. He gives the Vols 7 pledges for 2024.

Shamar Arnoux still has his junior year of high school ahead of him, but he has already decided he will be playing college football on Rocky Top. The cornerback from Milton, Georgia is UT’s first commitment of the 2025 recruiting class.

On3’s Industry Ranking rates Arnoux 4-stars, the No. 20 Georgia product, No. 23 cornerback and No. 190 prospect overall in 2025. He does not yet have a star rating from 247Sports or ESPN.

We’ll see what’s next for the Vols as spring recruiting picks up.
