Tennessee remains in the mix to land 4-star cornerback Aaron Scott Jr.

Scott announced his top 12 programs on Sunday afternoon. In addition to the Vols, he’s still considering Ohio State, Penn State, Oregon, Florida State, USC, Michigan, Notre Dame, Kentucky, Pitt, Oklahoma and Louisville.

Here’s his Easter-themed announcement:

Tennessee will likely have stiff competition in this recruitment from Ohio State. Scott attends Springfield High School in Springfield, Ohio. Scott is listed at 6-foot, 170 pounds.

However, he would be a major addition for the Vols if they’re able to land him. Scott is currently ranked as the No. 71 overall player and the No. 9 cornerback in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 2 player from the state of Ohio.

Tennessee is off to a strong start in the 2024 cycle. The Vols have 8 commitments so far in this cycle and have the nation’s No. 7-ranked class so far, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
