Alabama is a finalist for one of the top defensive backs in the country for the class of 2024.
4-star defensive back Cori Gipson announced his final 5 programs on Wednesday afternoon. In addition to the Crimson Tide, Gipson is still considering Clemson, Ohio State, Texas and TCU.

He attends Lancaster High School in Lancaster, Texas. He’s listed at 6-foot, 170 pounds.
Gipson is a top target for the Crimson Tide in 2024. He’s currently ranked as the No. 60 overall player and the No. 7 cornerback in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 10 player from the state of Texas.
The Lone Star State has become an important recruiting foothold for Alabama over the years. The Tide signed 2 players from the state of Texas in the class of 2023.
Alabama is still building up the early stages of its 2024 recruiting class. The Crimson Tide currently have 4 commitments and the No. 19-ranked class nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
