Florida will host Seton Hall transfer Tyrese Samuel on a recruiting visit this weekend, according to a report.

That’s per college basketball insider Jon Rothstein, who notes that Samuel will also be visiting Wake Forest.

Samuel would be a big pickup for the Gators, who have been active in the transfer portal this offseason. Last season, Samuel averaged 11 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.

At 6-foot-10, Samuel has great size and could be an impact player for Florida. He’s also known as a great defensive player as he averaged 1.1 steals and 0.8 blocks per contest last season.

Florida already has commitments from 3 transfers this offseason: Walter Clayton Jr., Micah Handlogten and EJ Jarvis.

Samuel has been a 4-year contributor for Seton Hall. He has 1 year of eligibility remaining.
