The 2023 NFL Draft is almost here! Festivities start on Thursday night in Kansas City with Round 1, and several SEC standouts figure to hear their names called by commissioner Roger Goodell that night.

On Sunday, ESPN expert Matt Miller released his full 7-round mock draft, and he had 11 SEC players going in Round 1.

As you can see below, Miller projects a pair of Alabama stars to be taken with the first 2 picks. He has Georgia and Alabama each producing 3 first-round selections:

  • No. 1 — Bryce Young, QB, Alabama — Carolina Panthers
  • No. 2 — Will Anderson Jr., Edge, Alabama — Houston Texans
  • No. 5 — Jalen Carter, DL, Georgia — Seattle Seahawks
  • No. 7 — Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida — Las Vegas Raiders
  • No. 8 — Nolan Smith, Edge, Georgia — Atlanta Falcons
  • No. 11 — Will Levis, QB, Kentucky — Tennessee Titans
  • No. 17 — Darnell Wright, OL, Tennessee — Pittsburgh Steelers
  • No. 19 — Broderick Jones, OL, Georgia — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • No. 23 — Hendon Hooker, QB, Tennessee — Minnesota Vikings
  • No. 25 — Emmanuel Forbes, CB, Mississippi State — New York Giants
  • No. 30 — Brian Branch, DB, Alabama — Philadelphia Eagles
