The college football betting lines for the opening games of the 2023 college football season are being set.

As of Monday, DraftKings has lines set for most of the SEC’s Week 1 games (and Vanderbilt’s Week 0 contest) to begin the season. Included in the matchups are a number of SEC vs. ACC showdowns and Florida’s return trip to Utah after facing the Utes in Gainesville during 2022.

When it comes to the Gators, Florida is more than a touchdown underdog for the trip out west. Florida did pull off an upset a year ago, but Anthony Richardson is off to the NFL while Utah returns a number of pieces.

LSU vs. Florida State — one of the dramatic early-season matchups last season — opens with the Tigers as slim favorites. We’ll see if the 2023 matchup can live up to the drama of last year’s showdown.

South Carolina vs. North Carolina also features a low spread while Texas A&M, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Auburn and Vanderbilt are all heavy favorites to begin the year.
