The 2023 NCAA Baseball Tournament selection show will take place on Monday, May 29 at noon ET on ESPN2.

Naturally, the 64-team field will be littered with SEC squads, many of which will serve as hosts for the regional round of the tournament.

On Sunday, Baseball America updated its projections for the tournament field, and 10 SEC teams made the cut (including 7 as regional hosts):

Regional hosts

  • Florida — No. 2 overall seed
  • Arkansas — No. 3 overall seed
  • LSU — No. 4 overall seed
  • Vanderbilt — No. 6 overall seed
  • Auburn — No. 12 overall seed
  • Alabama — No. 13 overall seed
  • Kentucky — No. 14 overall seed

Other qualifiers

  • Texas A&M — No. 2 seed (Stanford regional)
  • Tennessee — No. 2 seed (Indiana State regional)
  • South Carolina — No. 2 seed (Coastal Carolina regional)

That means that 4 SEC teams — Georgia, Mizzou, Mississippi State and Ole Miss — failed to make the cut in these projections.

Will an SEC team once again claim the national title in Omaha? We’ll find out over the course of the next month!
