Ron Holland, the No. 1 player in the Class of 2023, announced Wednesday that he will be signing with G-league Ignite, bypassing college basketball entirely.
Holland was committed to Texas until later April and was rumored to be a major target for Eric Musselman and Arkansas. Instead, holland decided to go the professional route rather than join the party that is forming in Fayetteville.
The 6-8 power forward is silly athletic and well deserving of the No. 1 overall prospect title. He could be a future No. 1 overall NBA Draft prospect, too.

Holland hails from Duncanville, Texas, just outside of Dallas. He’s far from the first to take the professional route, joining now-Rockets standout Jalen Green, future top pick Scoot Henderson and more.
