Georgia added a major piece to its 2024 recruiting class on Tuesday morning.
The Bulldogs picked up a commitment from 4-star linebacker Justin Greene, adding to a recruiting class that was already ranked No. 1 in the nation.

Greene is an elite prospect nationally. He’s the No. 101 overall player and the No. 12 defensive lineman in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 17 player from the state of Georgia.
He attends Mountain View High School in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He’s listed at 6-foot-4, 260 pounds.
Greene committed to Georgia over offers from programs like Alabama, Auburn, South Carolina and LSU, amongst others.
Georgia now has 17 commits in the class of 2024. Greene is the first defensive lineman to join Georgia’s recruiting class, however. UGA’s class sits No. 1 in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
