Kentucky is expected to host Creighton transfer Arthur Kaluma on a visit next week, according to a report.

247Sports’ Travis Branham was first to share that news on Friday. Kaluma is one of the best available transfers in the country.

Kaluma was a big part of Creighton’s team last season as the Blue Jays made it all the way to the Elite Eight. He averaged 11.8 points and 6 rebounds per game as a sophomore.

Listed at 6-foot-7, Kaluma has great size and would be an impactful player for the Wildcats on both ends of the floor. With a good season at Kentucky, he could be in position to be picked in the 2024 NBA Draft.

Kentucky is in the midst of overhauling its roster for next season. The Wildcats have lost several key pieces from last year’s team, including Oscar Tshiebwe, Cason Wallace and Chris Livingston.

However, so far Kentucky has been focusing more on high school recruiting than the transfer portal. The Wildcats have the No. 1 incoming recruiting class in the country but have not signed a transfer yet this cycle.
