Tennessee fans call for Vols to start Nico Iamaleava over Joe Milton in 2nd half

Tennessee has looked all sorts of discombobulated to start against the Florida Gators.

Florida has controlled the line of scrimmage all game and Tennessee QB Joe Milton has looked less than ideal to start out. It’s hard to put too much on Milton for this performance, but it’s still plenty clear: Tennessee needs a change of pace on offense.

Vols fans have a solution: Bench Milton for 5-star freshman Nico Iamaleava.

Iamaleava was one of the top prospects in the Class of 2023 and committed to the Vols out of California. He’s looked good in practice and was instantly named Milton’s No. 2 at the start of the season, though he’s played only sparingly in blowout wins.
