Kirk Herbstreit names his top-performing teams for Week 4, including 1 SEC squad

Kirk Herbstreit released his top-performing teams for Week 4 on Monday evening.
The ESPN analyst included 1 SEC team in his top 7: Alabama. The Crimson Tide defeated Ole Miss this past weekend in a top-25 showdown.
Herbstreit put Ohio State at the top of his rankings this week after the Buckeyes went into South Bend and came out with a win over Notre Dame. Florida State, Washington State, Georgia Tech, Northwestern and Kansas also earned shoutouts from Herbstreit.

Alabama has now won 8 consecutive meetings against Ole Miss. The Rebels’ last victory over Alabama came back in 2014.
Alabama’s defense was dominant against the Rebels on Saturday. The Tide limited Ole Miss to just 10 points and 4.6 yards per play on the afternoon.
Jalen Milroe also had an efficient day as Alabama’s starting quarterback. He threw for 225 yards on 21 attempts. He also threw for 1 touchdown and 1 interception.
Alabama will face Mississippi State on the road in Week 5.
