Yates came to College Station after spending nine seasons at Boise State, his alma mater, as the secondary coach. As co-defensive coordinator and secondary coach for Kevin Sumlin, Yates guided the Aggie defense into the top 40 nationally in pass efficiency defense and the top 20 in third down defense.
After living in Birmingham, Ala., Jordan left the ground zero of SEC Nation to head south to Florida to tell the unique stories of the renowned tradition of SEC football. In his free time, his mission is to find the best locales around.
