VanGorder’s a veteran collegiate and NFL coach, propelling his teams to unprecedented success. At Georgia, where he served as defensive coordinator from 2001-2004, the Bulldogs went 42-10 and VanGorder produced top five defenses in each of his four seasons. Prior to arriving at Auburn, VanGorder was the defensive coordinator for the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons, where he helped guide the Falcons to four consecutive winning seasons, a first in team history.
After living in Birmingham, Ala., Jordan left the ground zero of SEC Nation to head south to Florida to tell the unique stories of the renowned tradition of SEC football. In his free time, his mission is to find the best locales around.
