Mike MacIntyre

Before becoming a head coach, Mike MacIntyre served as a graduate assistant at Georgia and coached wide receivers and defensive backs at Ole Miss under David Cutcliffe.

MacIntyre also helped recruit Patrick Willis to the Rebels and later coached under Cutcliffe as Duke’s defensive coordinator.

In addition to coaching defensive backs for the Dallas Cowboys and New York Jets, MacIntyre made stops at Temple, Tennessee-Martin and Davidson before accepting his first head coaching job at San Jose State in 2010.

After coaching the Spartans to a 1-11 season that year, he improved the team to a 10-2 record and a spot in the final AP Top 25 by 2012, earning the head coaching job at the University of Colorado in 2013.
