Art Kaufman spent two different stints of his coaching career at Ole Miss, coaching outside linebackers and defensive ends from 1988-92 and coaching linebackers and serving as defensive coordinator from 1995-2000.
Kaufman coached under Tommy Tuberville and David Cutcliffe during his return to the Rebels.
Kaufman’s career also includes stops at Northwestern State, Louisiana Tech, Arkansas Tech, East Carolina, Middle Tennessee, Southern Miss, North Carolina, Texas Tech, Cincinnati and California.
An itinerant journalist, Christopher has moved between states 11 times in seven years. Formally an injury-prone Division I 800-meter specialist, he now wanders the Rockies in search of high peaks.
