Counting down to kickoff Thursday night, SDS will take a look at each SEC team’s individual win probability this season, ranking schedules on a game-by-game basis. Factors including where the game is played, the opening line and potential ranked matchups are taken into account.

VANDERBILT COMMODORES’ 2014 WIN PROBABILITY

  • Charleston Southern, 100 percent
  • Temple, 100 percent
  • UMass, 100 percent
  • Old Dominion, 100 percent
  • Kentucky, 55 percent
  • Tennessee, 50 percent
  • at Mizzou, 40 percent
  • at Mississippi St., 35 percent
  • Ole Miss, 30 percent
  • Florida, 30 percent
  • at Georgia, 25 percent
  • South Carolina, 25 percent

Favorable matchups (75 percent or better) — 4; Swing games (60 percent or lower) — 8

Takeaway: There’s not an easier non-conference slate in the SEC this season as Vanderbilt has four — what we deem automatic — wins. The other eight games, however, are up in the air. Road challenges at Mizzou, Georgia and Mississippi St. will be determine the legitimacy of Derek Mason’s inaugural campaign.
