RELATED: SEC Championship Trailer

No. 16 MIZZOU vs. No. 1 ALABAMA, 4 p.m. ET, CBS — It all comes down to this. Mizzou stands in the way of the SEC’s only berth in the first-ever College Football Playoff as a two-touchdown underdog heading into today’s league championship game against top-ranked Alabama. The Tigers are back in Atlanta for a second consecutive season, riding a six-game winning streak into this one despite not being given much a chance to win. The Crimson Tide’s playing at an elite-level offensively with one of the game’s best players in wideout Amari Cooper and have grown accustomed to playing under pressure in meaningful games. Mizzou’s equipped with one of the nation’s top defensive lines, but Alabama’s  athletes in the trenches are equally as talented on the other side of the ball. Most expect a lopsided score, but the Tigers are used to being disrespected by now. Here’s Mizzou’s chance on the grand stage.
