Alabama 2020 signee Kristian Story announces what position he’ll play for Crimson Tide

The Alabama Crimson Tide signed talented 4-star athlete Kristian Story as part of their 2020 recruiting class.
Story was a talented quarterback at Lanett High School in Alabama, accounting for 38 touchdown passes and 19 rushing touchdowns this past season, earning Alabama’s Gatorade Player of the Year award.
But, as he embarks on his career with the Crimson Tide, Story told AL.com he’d be playing on the other side of the ball at safety:
“It was a personal choice,” he said. “That is just where I see myself fitting in the most at the next level. I feel like with everything I can bring to the table that is the best chance for me to play many more years after this.”
After losing Jared Mayden and Xavier McKinney this offseason, the Tide have some positions to fill at the safety position.
Can Story earn some playing time this fall? We’ll find out soon enough, hopefully.
