Alabama defense turns in clutch performance down the stretch to secure win at Ole Miss

Alabama’s defense turned up the heat in the second half, and slowed the Ole Miss offense on several drives. Then after being gashed to start the final drive, the Crimson Tide stood up at the last minute to hang on.
Ole Miss had 3 straight drives end with a combined 31 yards, as the Rebels punted twice, and had another drive end on downs. That was until Ole Miss turned to Quinshon Judkins and he poured it on with 49 yards on 2 players, and then added 3 more yards on a catch and run.
But when it mattered most, Alabama forced an incomplete pass on fourth down to ice the victory, 30-24. Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart had 2 incomplete passes, a sack, and a scramble for no gain in his final 4 plays.
For Alabama, it avoided its first 3-loss season since 2010, back-to-back losses for the first time since 2013, and the first loss to Ole Miss since 2015.

Feel like that was the most juice we have seen from the Alabama defense all season

It’s refreshing to watch Alabama DB’s just play great defense and knock passes away without needing to grab and hold receivers.

#Alabama‘s defense holds up on fourth down in the final minute in Oxford.
The Crimson Tide will kneel out victory… and #LSU is officially heading to the SEC Championship Game.

Ah well – good effort, just came up short. Credit to the Alabama defense on the last series

I can’t believe that Jaxson Dart is legitimately trying to run on Alabama. I’m not saying Alabamas defense is good. But it’s still Alabama and Jaxson Dart is Jaxson Dart. I cannot believe Kiffin thinks that’s gonna work. Mind blowing
