TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Although the University of Alabama’s game at Arkansas was probably the most physical the Crimson Tide has played this season, Nick Saban’s injury update was short on Monday.

Junior wide receiver Amari Cooper (knee) and junior defensive end D.J. Pettway (ankle) may be limited during practice, but “hopefully these guys will respond and be just fine.”

“We don’t really anyone who has a new injury,” Saban said.

Alabama is already without linebacker Denzel Devall (ankle), junior center Ryan Kelly (knee), and running back Kenyan Drake (leg fracture) from the Ole Miss game. Devall and Kelly are expected to be out another week or two, and No. 7 Alabama has a bye after hosting Texas A&M on Saturday (3:30 p.m. ET, CBS), and visiting Tennessee next year.

Meanwhile, junior running back T.J. Yeldon revealed that his hamstring injury occurred during practice before the Southern Miss game. Coaches held him out most of the second half against the Golden Eagles, but he hasn’t missed any significant playing time since.

“I’m good,” he said. “I’ve been playing hard, all the running backs have.”
