Alabama fans respond to ‘pathetic’ defensive game plan in loss to Tennessee

Alabama fans were not happy with defensive coordinator Pete Golding’s defensive game plan against Tennessee, an offense that is among the best in the entire country.

The Vols scored 52 points on Alabama, something that… doesn’t happen much. The Crimson Tide are now 6-1 on the season following the 3-point loss.

Fans called the performance from Golding’s squad “pathetic” and “unacceptable” alongside a lot of much less kind things. It s true that Hendon Hooker could have made a sandwich in the backfield on some of his throws, and covering Jalin Hyatt was a near impossible task.

Not easy to win games when your opponent scores 52. Alabama fans reacted to the iffy defensive play Saturday afternoon.
