Alabama lands commitment from 4-star 2018 LB Quay Walker

After 2018 LB Quay Walker named an all-SEC top five, which included Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU and South Carolina, the talented 4-star prospect decided that the Crimson Tide would be the best fit for him.
The video where Walker selects the Crimson Tide can be seen on SECCountry.com. He said his connection with the coaching staff led him to choose Alabama over the other SEC schools:
“I have connected with Coach [Nick] Saban,” he said. “He’s a coach who I’ve built a good relationship with. The same goes with Coach [Derrick] Ansley, Coach [Tosh] Lupoi and Coach [Jeremy] Pruitt. My relationship with them has grown over these past weeks and months.”
According to 247Sports, the 6-4, 220-pound Walker is the No. 11 outside linebacker in the class of 2018 and the No. 18 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.
Walker is only the third player to commit to Alabama for the 2018 recruiting class so far, but all three are 4-star prospects. It’s safe to say more talented players will choose to join the Crimson Tide in the coming months.
