Following November’s Iron Bowl loss to Auburn, the College Football Playoff outlook looked pretty dim for Alabama.

The Tide weren’t going to the SEC Championship Game, and they needed some serious help to make it into the top four of the Playoff. Thankfully, for Alabama, Georgia hammered Auburn and Ohio State beat undefeated Wisconsin, which helped propel the Tide into the top four.

After Alabama escaped with a 31-24 win over Mississippi State, though, FOX Sports personality Jason McIntyre penned a column saying Alabama was “leaking oil,” and he added that the 2017 club was probably Alabama’s worst team since 2010. Granted, Alabama’s team had quiet wins over LSU and MSU. And then, there was the Iron Bowl loss to Auburn. Of course, losing to Auburn is never acceptable, but in this case, it was probably better Alabama didn’t play in the SEC Championship Game and allowed a few of its players to get healthy leading up to the Playoff.

On Thursday, Alabama LB Christian Miller wanted to make sure McIntyre’s column wouldn’t be ignored, even calling him out on Twitter.

At least McIntyre isn’t claiming that UCF won the National Championship.
