Alabama RB hammers UK fan, media member over Kevin Durant comparison

Like many sports fans, including some current SEC players, Alabama RB Damien Harris was critical of NBA superstar Kevin Durant leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder to join the Golden State Warriors.
Just weak on KD's part.. If you wanna leave and win a ring, I respect that but don't go join a team just because you couldn't beat them ?

Harris’ tweet was quickly called out by Kentucky fans. The Berea, Ky. native was a five-star prospect and chose the Crimson Tide over the in-state Wildcats in 2015. In the eyes of the UK faithful, that’s on par with Durant leaving Oklahoma City to join Golden State, the NBA’s runner-up in 2016.
One tweet, which has since been deleted but was captured by College Spun, particularly bothered Harris:
@DHx34 it’s weak on your part to leave your home state when u could’ve helped them win a title. BBN

It would take a lot more than just my help, trust me https://t.co/8KZDgVyoiM

The story does not stop there. A blogger at Kentucky Sports Radio, under the handle Mrs. Tyler Thompson, posted about Harris’ tweet and the back-and-forth with the above fan. She actually agreed with Harris’ assessment of the Wildcats needing more than him, but that still led to Harris calling out the face and founder of the site, Matt Jones, for running the article.
Classic matt jones, anything for a story lol https://t.co/dHpwbFMMZP

Alabama hosts Kentucky on Oct. 1. We’re guessing Harris will want as many carries as Lane Kiffin will give him.
