Report: Dallas Cowboys release Bo Scarbrough following preseason
By Adam Spencer
Published:
The Dallas Cowboys selected former Alabama RB Bo Scarbrough with a seventh-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, wanting to see what he could do this preseason.
After starting out with 33 yards and a touchdown in his preseason debut, Scarbrough struggled in the other three games.
Now, it appears the Cowboys will look elsewhere for Ezekiel Elliott’s backup, as it was reported on Saturday that Scarbrough had been cut:

You never want to be looking for a job this close to the start of the regular season, but that’s the situation Scarbrough finds himself in now.
Whether or not he catches on with a new team remains to be seen, but there should be at least a couple of teams out there with interest in the former Alabama star.
