Eryk Anders’ next UFC opponent says his ‘Roll Tide’ support makes him a worthy foe

On Saturday night in Toronto, UFC fighters Eryk Anders and Elias Theodorou will do battle at UFC 231.
Anders is a very popular fighter, particularly in Alabama, as he was a former Crimson Tide linebacker.
Ahead of the bout, Theodorou is happy to have such a popular fighter in the octagon with him. In a pre-fight interview with FanSided, Theodorou said Anders has the “Roll Tide” support behind him:
“Eryk Anders has a lot of hype behind him,” he said. “He has a whole team behind him from Alabama because he’s ‘roll tide,’ as they say. He’s coming to knock my block off, but I’m going to show him the difference between chess and checkers. I’m going to break him mentally and physically.”
Anders is 11-2 in his MMA career, while Theodorou boasts a slightly better 15-2 overall record.
The fight should be a good one, and the winner will be one step closer to national prominence.
