The Green Bay Packers picked up undrafted free agent DB Tony Brown after he was cut by the Los Angeles Chargers prior to the 2018 season.

He carved out a role for himself, and that carried over into the 2019 season, too.

However, Brown will now be looking for his next NFL squad, as the Packers announced on Saturday that they had released the former Alabama standout:

Brown had appeared in 9 games for the Packers so far this season, recording 9 tackles and a blocked extra point.

Where he ends up next remains to be seen, but he’ll likely find a landing spot, as young defensive backs are always in demand in the pro ranks.
