Henry Ruggs III has been scheduled for sentencing on Wednesday for the DUI crash in November of 2021 that resulted in the death of Tina Tintor in Las Vegas.

According to ProFootballTalk, Ruggs will learn whether he will go to jail for 3 of 10 years for a felony count of DUI resulting in death and a misdemeanor charge of vehicular manslaughter.

Ruggs acknowledged his responsibility in Tintor’s death in a plea deal entered in May.

As part of the deal, attorneys recommend the Judge impose the sentence of up to a decade in prison with the possibility of parole after 3 years.

“Mr. Ruggs has [pleaded] guilty and has accepted responsibility for his conduct and there is nothing in Mr. Ruggs’ background that could have predicted this tragic event,” Ruggs’ attorneys wrote in court documents.
