Jaden Shackelford goes off in G-League game, sets new record for 3-pointers
Jaden Shackelford had a remarkable game for the Oklahoma City Blue on Monday night.
Shackelford scored 35 points in the Blue’s 118-104 win over the Memphis Hustle. He earned almost all of his points from behind the 3-point line, going a remarkable 11-of-14 from long range.
His 11 3-pointers broke the Blue’s record for most 3-pointers in a single game.
Here are some of his highlights from his big night in OKC:

Shackelford is just beginning his second pro season out of Alabama. He signed with the Oklahoma City Thunder as an undrafted free agent in 2022 and has played with the Blue — their G-League affiliate — since then.
Shackelford’s elite 3-point shooting has translated to the G-League level. Last season in 26 regular season games for the Blue, Shackelford made 38.8% of his 3-point attempts on a volume of 8.4 attempts per game. He averaged 15 points per contest last season.
Shackelford, 22, will continue fighting for NBA minutes at some point down the line. He and the Blue will face the Memphis Hustle again on Wednesday.
