Jalen Milroe is beginning to get some serious Heisman hype.

The Alabama QB has had a fantastic start to the season and has the Tide sitting as the N0. 1 team.

On Week 6’s Big Noon Kickoff, the crew listed the 4 players who are currently in “Club Heisman,” as the favorites to win the award. Milroe was listed as the No. 1 Heisman contender through Week 5.

“There might be a new head man at the seat of the table,” said Matt Leinart, about Milroe. “You (Mark Ingram) were there at the game in Tuscaloosa, their quarterback, Jalen Milroe.”

Ingram loved what he saw from Milroe in Week 5.

“He went and showed the Bulldogs they couldn’t mess with him,” said Ingram. “He went for 491 yards and 4 TDs.”

The former Alabama RB praised Milroe’s ability to go through his progressions as a passer while also impressing as a runner, making the QB a matchup nightmare.

“He’s giving defensive coordinators nightmares, they can’t sleep at night,” Ingram declared.

Milroe’s next chance to impress will be against Vanderbilt in Week 6. The QB has thrown for 964 yards with 10 TDs and just 1 INT through 4 games. The QB has also added 273 rushing yards and 8 scores on the ground.

The Big Noon Kickoff crew also put Colorado’s Travis Hunter, Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty, and Miami’s Cam Ward in “Club Heisman” ahead of Week 6.
