The Alabama Crimson Tide are always on the cutting edge when it comes to innovation. Now, they’re at it again as fall camp opens.

This year, Alabama players will have a way to quickly recover during practices, and it is certainly very cool.

As you can see below, Alabama director of sports medicine Jeff Allen showed off the Tide’s on-field cryo chamber, which will be kept below 25 degrees:

That will certainly help players cool off and recover during brutal Alabama summer practices. Now, we’ll see how long it takes other schools to bring them to their campuses.

It’ll be interesting to see what the players say about the chamber when they’ve had a chance to use it a couple of times.
