Mel Kiper Jr. offers strong opinion on Bryce Young’s 2023 NFL Draft stock

Mel Kiper Jr. has been covering the NFL Draft at ESPN for decades now, so he’s seen a ton of talent filter through the annual event.
Alabama QB Bryce Young will likely be awarded the Heisman Trophy on Saturday night, but he’s not draft-eligible until 2023.
During an appearance on ESPNU Radio on Sunday, Kiper said Young is “guaranteed” to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft at this point:

Of course, being the No. 1 overall pick isn’t always all it’s cracked up to be, as you often go to the worst team in the league.
But, there’s prestige that goes along with being the top pick and, of course, lots of money. We’ll see if Young continues to shine as he moves along in his college career.
