Here is what Alabama coach Nick Saban said following the Crimson Tide’s 31-6 win at Mississippi State on Saturday:

On performance of special teams: “Our punt return has been very productive over the last few games.”

On defensive line: “I think the defensive line is the strength of our team. There are eight or nine of them that are big and physical, so we can keep them going with something in the tank. … Whether we play a running team like LSU or a passing team, we have enough diversity up front so that was can adapt.”

On cut on his face: “Jonathan Allen came barelling in all excited. …The athlete that I am, I was able to keep my feet. The players were a little concerned, they know they don’t make ’em like they used to.”
