Nick Saban doesn’t seem like the singing type, but he makes an exception for the Alabama fight song, which he’s heard probably thousands of times since taking over in Tuscaloosa in 2007.

Now, it’s time for the Alabama freshman class to learn the song, which they did this week.

As you can see below, Saban sang along with the freshmen as the band and cheerleaders did their thing:

With how good Alabama is expected to be this fall, it’s safe to say that song will be ringing throughout Bryant-Denny Stadium a lot this season. The Crimson Tide will kick off their home schedule on Saturday, Sept. 3, against Utah State.

Here are the lyrics to the Alabama fight song, for those curious:

Yea, Alabama! Drown ’em Tide!
Every ‘Bama man’s behind you,
Hit your stride.
Go teach the Bulldogs to behave,
Send the Yellow Jackets to a watery grave.
And if a man starts to weaken,
That’s a shame!
For Bama’s pluck and grit have
Writ her name in Crimson flame.
Fight on, fight on, fight on men!
Remember the Rose Bowl, we’ll win then.
Go, roll to victory,
Hit your stride,
You’re Dixie’s football pride,
Crimson Tide, Roll Tide, Roll Tide!!
