Coming off a bye week, Alabama has had a chance to get some important players healthy.
Heading into a big matchup against LSU on Saturday, it’ll be great for the Crimson Tide if DL Da’Shawn Hand and RB Josh Jacobs are at full strength.
During his Wednesday night press conference, coach Nick Saban said Jacobs is ready to go, but Hand, who strained his MCL against Ole Miss, will be a game-time decision:
Saban said Da'Shawn Hand (MCL strain) is medically cleared to play but will be a pregame decision.

Saban: "Josh Jacobs is fine. He'll be able to play, no question."

Jacobs has been battling injuries all year long, so having him back at full strength (or somewhere near it) will be big for the deep and dangerous Alabama backfield.
Hand, meanwhile, is one of the leaders of the defensive line. Getting him back in the mix will be a big boost to that unit, especially against LSU RB Derrius Guice.
